Administrative Assistant (some Legal experience a plus)

 

 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;

 

 

 
     
  • Handling all subpoenas, both record requests and depositions, including scheduling of depositions;
  •  
  • DOH License renewals;
  •  
  • Assist with loan closings and preparation of documents;
  •  
  • Help oversee medical malpractice cases, scheduling of meetings with physicians and outside counsel, depositions, coordination of expert review, trials;
  •  
  • Handle expert review requests;
  •  
  • Review all physician contract files and organize by category.
  •  
  • Ordering food for physicians lunches
  •  
  • Clearing/distributing faxes from administrative fax machines
  •  
  • Opening and sorting administrative mail
  •  
  • Sending out mailings
  •  
  • Booking meeting rooms
  •  
  • Scheduling physician candidates
  •  
  • Coordinates billing for expert witness program
  •  
  • Orders food and sets up for physician and business office meetings
  •  
  • Photocopies, faxes, scans
  •  
  • Distributes memos and faxes
  •  
  • Coordinates w/General Counsel for signatures needed on documents
  •  
  • Other duties as assigned by the Administrative Lead
  •  
 

Qualifications:

 

 

 

Prior experience as a legal assistant preferred
Strong outlook experience, specifically with calendar management

 

Expert in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

 

Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task and handle many different tasks at once; self-started, independent
